You can't look away...when Carrie Folks performs,
you can't take your eyes off her. When she takes
the stage, you know that you're witnessing a force
of nature to be reckoned with. Yet, at the eye of
this storm, you can also hear the depth of her
passion for the music. A passion that has possessed
her all of her life.
In 1988, Carrie was crowned the winner of the Miss Tennessee Pageant. Later, she went on to be one of only six talent winners in the Miss America Pageant. After college, Carrie toured the western states and while in Los Angeles, she was chosen to host the Walt Disney production "Countdown At The Neon Armadillo" television series. It didn't take long for word to get around when she moved back to Nashville, and in short order, Carrie was headlining "Wild Wednesdays with Carrie Folks" at the Wildhorse Saloon. Then she and her band hit the road opening concert for artists such as Vince Gill, Diamond Rio, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Rick Springfield, among others. By her relentless determination and hard won accomplishments, Carrie Folks now stands poised to achieve the goals that she has pursued since she was a child. Carrie possesses everything necessary to achieve super-stardom, beauty, grace, charm, a great voice and the experience to back it up! |
